HOME REMEDIES AND TIPS FOR THE HARMATTAN SEASON.

Without doubt harmattan is in the air. Firstly, let me ask you, how is the weather treating you? With the hazy, dusty, hot and extremely cold weather without doubt the North Western trade wind and the harbinger of harmattan season has really hit us. One of my friends said "Harmattan no go kill person, but before it does I'll kill it" 😊 Some even claim to be enjoying it and see those wearing cardigans as just been over cautious but you see harmattan hits us differently because our immune system is stronger than the other.

The sudden change met you and I in a delicate state but without doubt global warming and climate change has hit many place because rainfall is still being experienced in some areas but that's by the way. Coping with cold, extremely hot and dry weather you must be prepared and when I mean prepared I mean health wise. You know and if you'll quite agree harmattan is teaching so many different things but I found three things most important (to stay hydrated, use a very good skin moisturizer and never forget to toss some lip balm or lip gloss on before leaving the house).

However, for the next couple of days, on the blog I will be sharing recipes that are beneficial during harmattan season it will sooth and keep you refreshed throughout the sesson but in the mean time, here are few tips to follow during the season:

Get a moisturizer:

The harmattan leaves the outer skin really dry amd because its after every moisture. It is advised to use a good moisturizer.

Get hands sanitizers:

The dirt's flying around during this period most important because everywhere is dry dust tends to be in the air and this percolates or stays on various items. Getting a hand sanitizer and using appropriately will prevent one from contracting any kind of flu and sanitizers are quite affordable.

Drink water regularly:

I tell you, harmattan teaches people how to drink water regularly. Even on every other day water should be key — it's very pivotal to stay hydrated because the environment is dry and it quickly dries up any form of moisture which the human body is not left out. Now when you feel this dryness in your throat kinda itchy please take in some water.

Get a lip balm:

Blisters tend to form on the lip and in severe cases it results in injury. A good lip balm or gloss will do justice to that lip balm can be bought in local groceries and stores they are readily available.

Eat more of fruits:

But also get these items Garlic, Ginger, Tumeric, Honey, Fruits (i.e mostly citrus fruits) at home because they can be effective in making home remedies at this time of the year. As said earlier I will be making and sharing with you simple home remedies basically, teas using natural ingredients.
