SILKY OAT PORRIDGE WITH FRUIT & CHOCOLATE SHAVINGS | OAT RECIPE (SERIES)

Following suit and gaining inspiration from the previous intense chocolatey experience and perfect way to make your oat. I decided to create another infusion and total burst of flavour by adding some chocolate shavings and compulsorily making use of cinnamon stick to create this silky oat porridge.

If you by chance missed the first two recipes click HERE & HERE to prepare you for the recipe you're about to read and probably try.

Oat as I said in previous series is a cultivated cereal grass often eaten as porridge or even made into granola with the infusion of nuts, just nuts and not bolt😂. Creating this severally during the course of the series mades me remember childhood when mum made this on Saturdays. We often had it with milk and moimoi/akara. There's a particular brand of oat that rings a bell because daddy never calls the name separately he does the honours of saying it in full everytime.

The first day I started the series he (i.e dad) reached out to say you made oats? Kindly send mine and he didn't hesitate saying the full name it just rang the bell even more.
Oat is and will continue to be an healthy option — rich in fibre, essential vitamins and minerals. Someone called my attention to oat being a factor for anyone to suddenly develop or have the urge to visit the toilet. But, I beg to differ if you've not got bowel issues then you've got nothing to worry about.

Idea of this silky oat porridge was to create something soft and smooth. In no doubt, I believe y'all have been enjoying the different creative ways I've proven you can make your oat porridge and I hope it has indeed inspired someone out there to give it a trial. In future recipes, I plan on using oat in a totally different way.
