CINNAMON TEA




This has to be the most aromatic tea you'll ever have. It has the Sweetness and aromatic fragrance coming from two essential ingredients. The combination of the two aromatic spices just soothes the entire infusion process makes the tea a long lasting feel of freshness.


However, the recipe calls for the cinnamon spice obtained from Cinnamomum verum, the inner aromatic bark strips is used as condiment majorly used for flavouring additive in a wide variety of cuisines, sweet and savoury dishes, breakfast cereals e.g granola, snackfoods, tea and traditional foods.



There are two main types of cinnamon:

Ceylon cinnamon: Also known as "true" cinnamon.

Cassia cinnamon: The more common variety today and what people generally refer to as "cinnamon."


INGREDIENTS: (1 serving)

Cinnamon (2-3 Sticks)
Cloves (8-10)
Honey
Water 2cups

Now, let's cook!

STEPS / PROCEDURES

Step 1: wipe clean cinnamon sticks from any dirt and rinse.

Step 2: bring water to boil.

Step 3: add cinnamon sticks and cloves to boiling water.

TD's Tip: The entire process shouldn't take more than 15minutes.


Step 4: Take tea off heat and let it cool.


Step 5: Strain tea into tea cup, add honey and serve.
