Apple Pie Recipe

Apple is one my favorite fruits nothing compares to munching  a fresh green or red apple before or after meal (you get that feeling right?  )
However, it's no longer news the incessant rise of apple in the market but you know when you love something you do all it takes to get it.

Apple is one of those fruits I enjoy taking because it gives me that desired satisfaction I decided to use it in making pies. Absolutely yummy !
Ingredients:
*For Dough:
Flour 200g
Butter 100g
Salt
1 Egg
Sugar 50g
*For the Apple:
Apple (2-3)
Lemon juice / white vinegar 2TBSP
Sugar 3TBSP
Cinnamon
Nutmeg
Water 1/2cup
Equipments: knife, saucepan, bowls,  rolling pin, cooker, measuring cups and spoons, kitchen scale, pizza cutter, oven, pie dish.
Procedures:
 Prepare the Pastry:
Step 1: In a bowl add flour and sugar combine then rub in  butter till it's fully combined.
Step 2: add pinch of salt, lightly beat some eggs and add to the flour mixture.
Step 3: combine the dough but don't overwork it,  wrap in a cling film and refrigerate.
 Prepare the apple filling:
Step 4: Wash the  fruits, cut into quarter and take out the core ,  thinly peel the back of the fruit and  cut into wedges.
Step 5: Add some vinegar or lemon juice to the apple.
 Prepare the stewed fruit.
Step 6: In a saucepan add water, sugar and  stir till it fully dissolves.
Step 7: Add in the  apple and  bring it to boil.
Step 8: Add in cinnamon and nutmeg. Turn off heat and set aside.
 Assemble the pie:
Step 9: On a floured surface, roll out the dough
Step 10: In an oiled or sprayed pie dish, line in some dough add in the apple filling.
Step 11: Bake in a pre-heated oven
Step 12: serve with any drink of your choice. Enjoy!
Key points:
 Don't over work the pastry.
 Add vinegar / lemon / lime to the apple to prevent browning.
 Add cinnamon and nutmeg to give the stewed fruit some extra flavor.
 When assembling the pie, you can either weave or line some pastry on top.
 Bake in a preheated oven till it's golden brown.
